Register***VOLUNTEERS NEEDED***
Interested in coaching one of your children’s sports team, or interested in
assisting? The following must be completed before the season starts.
Coaching Requirements:
BACKGROUND CHECK: This is mandatory even if you have had a background check
done already for another entity. You need to go to: https://uenroll.identogo.com/ to
schedule. They will prompt you for a Service Code which is 2F1J3Y, you will also be
asked for a Contributor’s Case # which is B10002. Once you make the appointment,
please email the Recreation Department at KLamonte@midlandparknj.org with your
appointment date.
RUTGERS SAFETY CLINIC: If you are already certified with the Rutgers Youth Safety
Counsel, you can submit a copy of your card to the Recreation Department at
KLamonte@midlandparknj.org. If you need to take the course, please visit
https://youthsports.rutgers.edu/courses/map for class options.
CONCUSSION TRAINING COURSE: Online Course, you need to register but it’s still a
free class: https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/coach.html
Copies of the Rutgers Safety Clinic Card and concussion certificate must
be forwarded to the Recreation Department at
KLamonte@midlandparknj.org.
Once copies are received and clearance has been obtained from the
background check, coaches will be issued an ID card and lanyard which
must be worn at all games and practices.

The MPSA needs your help in running a successful program. Volunteers are an essential part of the program. Coaches at all divisions, both Travel and Recreation are needed. When registering please select the option to coach. The MPSA board will be in contact with further information.
Understanding of the game is desired, but MPSA has experienced coaches willing to share experience, and is prepared with practice plans to help build a successful program. Additionally, volunteers are always welcome and needed in other areas, from the Snack Stand to assisting with running the annual Midland Park Blast Off Tournament.
