    PITCHING CLINIC
     
    We are excited to offer an optional preseason pitching training program for Rec players with Midland Park’s own Lexi Kakolewski and Lexi Reyes. This five-week clinic will focus on pitching fundamentals to prepare the girls for the upcoming season.
     
    The program will be open to players in grades 2-6 who will be participating in the 2026 Recreation Softball season. There are two 45 minute sessions that will be held at the Barn in Midland Park. The Pitching Clinic will take place on the following nights – 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15 and 3/29, either at 1:30 or 2:30. The registration fee is $80 and covers all five sessions for one of the time slots. The program will be limited to 10 participants per session.

    Winter Pitching and Hitting Clinics
     
    HITTING CLINIC
     
    As we prepare for the upcoming spring season, the Softball Association is offering an optional preseason training program in Midland Park. The program will be open to players in grades 1-6 who will be participating in the 2026 Recreation Softball season. There are two 60 minute sessions that will be held at the Barn in Midland Park. The Hitting Clinic will take place Sunday, March 15th and Sunday, March 29th, from 10:00-11:00 for 1st-3rd graders and 11:30-12:30 for 4th-6th graders. The registration fee is $20 per session and you may sign up for one or both weeks. The program will be limited to 20 participants per session.
     

    The clinic on March 15th will be run by Sarah Gunderson, and the clinic on March 29th will be run by Emma Douma. 

    SARAH GUNDERSON: Sarah brings extensive Division I playing and coaching experience to the program. She finished her collegiate career at Providence College after pitching four seasons at the University of Rhode Island, where she recorded over 200 career strikeouts. Following her playing career, Sarah served as an assistant softball coach at Manhattan College, providing valuable insight into player development, training expectations, and the college game.
     

    EMMA DOUMA: One of Midland Park’s finest is back to help build the program where she once played! Emma completed an outstanding Division I career at Providence College, where she was a multi-year starter and impact player. She finished her collegiate career starting all 56 games in her final season and was known for her consistency at the plate, strong defensive play, and leadership on and off the field. Emma brings high-level experience, energy, and a true passion for developing young athletes back to Midland Park.

  • 2026 Rec and Travel Softball Registration


    Midland Park Softball registration is now open for the 2026 Recreation and Travel seasons! This registration is open for children living, or attending school, in Midland Park, NJ.

    Midland Park Softball Association Recreation Softball Program:

    The goal of Recreation Softball is to teach players the fundamentals of the game as well as good sportsmanship. All players are guaranteed playing time. The Recreation program is open to all children in grades pre-K-8, who live, or attend school, in Midland Park, NJ. The league runs from early April through early June. Teams in grades 3-8 do travel to other towns to play other recreation teams. All players will be given a jersey and socks. Registration runs through 3/31/26, but a late fee will be charged for any orders after 2/28/26, in order to offset the cost of late uniform orders.

    PLEASE NOTE: In order to play in the Summer Travel Program, players must also register and play in the Recreation Softball Program.

    Midland Park Softball Association Summer Travel Program:

    The competitive softball season starts in early June. MP teams will play in the league run by Midland Park, consisting of a 12-14 game season, tournaments, and potential for playoffs. Summer Travel season ends with playoffs the last week of July. This should be taken into consideration if interested in Summer Travel, as vacation plans may need to be altered if making the commitment to play.
